I watched this a lot with my family when I was younger. Recently, I tracked down a VHS version of it on half.com and ordered it. It'd been so long since I last saw it, I thought it might not live up to my memory of it. Fortunately, its still as funny as I remembered.

Hey Nostalga rocks!
Don't knock it or how great nostalga can make some movies....I know from experiance there's certain movies that i loved back in the day that if i saw today i def wouldn't have the same fondness for....Ahh to be able to look back and say They just don't make em like that anymore...

I kinda liked Out on A Limb--yeah there's problems like jeff jones to me seemed a little off...he was much more i'm gonna get ya in ferris bueller! maybe he didn't like the script :) but overall i thought it was def. watchable and def the kind of thing you can throw on whenever the hell you feel like it... then again I saw it when it first came to video in fifth grade so what do i know...but i have seen it on usa several times in the years since and i gotta say that jim and jim have cracked me up every time i've managed to channel surf 'em. damn you imdb...once again you've made me wanna watch a sorta forgotten halfway remembered movie that i'm gonna have to search for...

Hey Baby Que Paso? Thought you were only into Rock and Roll. Hey Baby Que Paso?

It's underrated.

Next to Tin Men, Midnight Run and Weekend at Bernie's this is one of my favorite comedies. I had a good laugh and I often catch myself thinking of scenes or facial expressions. Simply hilarious. I hope to be able to get it on a Region 2 DVD soon.
Some Like It Hot is also very funny, classic.

Check any video sources in Boulder Creek where much of it was shot (or anywhere in the San Lorenzo Valley or Scotts Valley). I heard that the only theater to show it was the nearby theater in Scotts Valley.

I don't know about the best or greatest. Of course, I'm not 10 either.

However, Out on a Limb was decent. There were some pretty fuuny parts. I especially loved the scene where the Jims are dancing with the girls in the bar and the cops yell "Freeze!!"

All in all, I'm glad I took the time.

I was wondering how decent actors like Broderick, Reily and Jones got mixed up with this stinker.

i thought this would be the first movie ive seen where geffrey jones in a bigger part plays a good guy, is it a coincidence its the only time ive seen they put him in very thick glasses, five minutes in... oops, he didnt play a good guy. massive "twilight zone - time enough at last" vibe when he drops the glasses in the car. must have been an early role for john c reilly. this board is way emptier than i expected it to be.

straighten out what you tangle in,
confusing me after all misunderstanding,
what you thought you knew all about,
giving me the serious eye,
to reach my very inside,
until i start to fact a lie,
the way i threw the ball,
wasn't suppose to crash your window,
understand the rules on the playing ground,
give me a point and tangle that out.
