Denholm, John, + Christopher

I just watched this for the first time in 10 years and while it was fun, it was also sad knowing nearly half the cast has tragically passed away.
RIP guys

We come into this world naked, screaming, and covered in blood. Why should the fun end there?

I, too, have just watched this after having not seen it in a very long while. It was a lot of fun to watch again, but yes, there is a sadness that you feel knowing that those men are gone.

And all three under such especially tragic conditions. Denholm Elliott had AIDS and he looked terribly thin and weak in his final performances. The fact that he soldiered on until the end deserves the utmost respect.

John Ritter, a master of physical comedy, has a heart attack in front of the cast of his show and dies in surgery after giving them a thumbs up, as if to say he'd be okay.

We all know the tragic story of Christopher Reeve. It's too heartbreaking to even sum up in retelling. He was a hell of an inspiration.

it is terribly sad that John, Christopher and Denholm are no longer with us.......however, they live on in wonderful films like this one.

reply

They certainly will. May they rest in peace, and may we continue to enjoy their contributions to the world of film in perpetuity.
