More of a comedy than I expected.

When I started to watch this I was expecting a dark brooding film-noir style drama but immediately it became obvious that the tone of this film was more comedic. DeNiro's over the top performance and the musical score definitely suggests it's a comedy all be it a black one with some moderately dark material.
