Anyone else think they should remake this game in 3D? It would be great and more fun to play.

That would be awesome! 3D fully destructible enviroments. Havok physics engine. The ability to create complex traps and place hidden cameras. Observing the whole thing from a remote location, even sending out remote control camera drones that you could fly & spy with. The drone could even set off traps. All while protecting the beauties from D.O.A ...Maybe one day.

I played a TECMO game called "Deception" on the playstation 1. The concept involved designing and trigguring systems of traps to defeat enemies. Several sequels were made and a recent thematic sequel is out on current gen systems(I can't recall the name). I suggest that you check these out if you liked Night Trap but are looking for a 3D game with a similar theme.

BTW, I liked "Double Switch" better than Night Trap.

Guys, if you miss those days, I mean, good old crap sega cd games, you can find all sega cd files from the net.
It is really funny, I nearly had all fmv type sega cd games, and I still keep my system at home, but it is much easier to play from PC...
it is faster, and u don't need to use cd, I really enjoyed double switch and night trap after all those years, btw, I don't believe there should be a remake, but I really miss these fmv games, I don't understand, why people didn't like them, it is great to be part of a movie...

There's a 32X CD Iso too which is way better.

When I was home on break once I tried to use an emu for Sega CD with one of my old discs and couldn't get it to work. My cables for my Genesis and Sega CD are kinda lost so I can't play on my old console without getting a bit creative. You know of a PC based emu that works easily?

I too rather enjoy the fmv games; and agree playing them on a pc is much handier.

Of course, the 3DO emu (freedo) has the best quality picture in my opinion.

I could imagine it being like The Sims, but you have to protect them by using traps. You can set up the traps where ever you want and you can unlock new traps. Also the enemies appear randomly. They can do more with real time graphics than FMV video.
