Vanity was hot even when not glammed up!

What a great film. Who cares if it's a Mad Max II rip off. Who cares if it resolutely B-movie in scope.

What these films lacked in budget to blow on effects they made up for in heart and passion. The makers of NC succeeded in dressing the sets with enough attention to detail to sell the whole thing in the first five minutes. And lets face it, anything with The Ironside in it, is usually worth a look.

But that's not all. That's right. You've got Vanity in, correct me if I'm wrong, her last proper leading film role, before her health gave out on her and she resultantly went so absolutely super-Christian that she makes Moses look like a grumpy agnostic.

Some folks say, Vanity couldn't act and she just got by on perfect bone structure, beautiful eyes and exotic charm. But these people are clearly ass pirates, cos Vanity had the chops. Who knew she could pull a character like Reno out of the bag?!

Come for the Ironside, stay for The Lady V and then forget all that blockbuster, super-budget processed Hollywood pig-swill, cos you just know it toots on the devil's crack pipe when compared to a good 'ol, dirty-lookin' early 90's rumble like this one.

Boom.
