something i really liked

i thought it was really great how they had the flashback scenes in colour and the New Year's party in black and white. Usually it's the other way around (the past is black and white and the film's present day is in colour).
Kind of a clever way of juxtaposing the earlier time when Raimond was a young hopeful musician in a free country and then later, when he was dead and everything was depressing under the Soviet rule.
