Finally Bought It, Too Funny
I've seen this movie many times. But I finally broke down and bought my own copy. I hate the way TV slices up movies with commercials.
Is there anything NOT great about this film? Joe Pesci is perfect, Marisa Tomei is adorable, Fred Gwynne is hilarious as the exasperated Judge. The supporting cast is brilliant. I love the Sheriff (D-Day from Animal House). Lane Smith is a tough D.A. with a kind heart.
The two "yoots" are perfectly cast. Hard to believe that Ralph Macchio is a college "kid" when he was actually over thirty in this. Does he ever age?
