That between a jewish guy and italian guy from NYC, the italian one has the lawyer in the family?!!

That type of joke deserves a better set up and punchline in the movie.

I forget, because it has been so long.

But, if I remember correctly, they never got much into the "back story" of the second defendant, the Jewish kid.

Right?

We got quite a bit of back story on the Ralph Macchio character, since he was Vinny's nephew.

But I don't recall much -- if anything -- about the background and back story of the Jewish friend and accomplice.

Didn't the Jewish guy say his parents were in the Chilean mountains and there's no way he could contact them? They may have had a great lawyer!
