It's okay; might have been nice to have a little more about his biography, but if you're into the music of Hitchcock films you'll probably appreciate. We get some good commentary about the Herrmann approach to film scores and how it differed from those of others, e.g. Max Steiner. Also goes into what happened with the break up with Hitchcock.

I really liked it a lot.
It was oscar nominated as best documentary long form (it didn't win)
