is it sad?

that this is one of my favorite movies ever!!!? Everyone always makes fun of the muppets and says "oh how childish." My parents said I used to watch this every month of the year when I was little. I watched it again last Christmas and I love it just as much as I did back then.

Nah, the Muppets are not strictly kid-stuff and never have been. They're truly for all ages! And besides, if there's one time of year when you're allowed to relive your childhood by rewatching your old favourites, it's Christmas.

I don't even like the Mupppets, but I love this movie. I love Dickens Christmas Carol, I read it every year.

Oddly enough, this is a close adaption to the original, especially with dialogue. The best part is, it turns a classic, into something that young children can understand and love.

I too read the story on a yearly basis, and have seen virtually every single film adaptation. The Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite of them all for a host of reasons.

1. Nostalgia
2. Michael Caine as Ebeneezer Scrooge
3. Dialogue is a fair representation of the original text
4. Beautiful songs
5. Muppets!

Not at all, as it's been said, the Muppets were never completely meant for kids. It's only recently that people have interpreted it like that and the DVDs are going into the kids section.

I love this movie and have done for many years.

Not at all. This is my favourite Christmas movie, and it's not officially Christmas for me until I've watched it! I can't wait till my son is a few years older and we can enjoy it together.

Hate to jump on the bandwagon, but I agree this movie is one that can't be discounted. I tried to watch it "objectively" and I can't keep helping coming up with the same conclusion: it's amazing.

I feel like no one but my family understands the wealth of this film. I don't necessarily like muppets or anything that might show up on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately, Muppets have been miscategorized. Actually I 100% despise anything cartoon, animal or just in general kid like. I was a kid once. It was fun and I'm on to the next part. So I cannot stress enough how viewer friendly this movie is.

I just got it on blu ray for Christmas and I am 28. Young by life's measure maybe, and Muppets is no exception. There are some things that never grow old: classics.

I watched it too every Chirstmas time as a child. So much-I think one scene made me scared of a neighbour's door knocker-I was always afraid it would come alive on Halloween.
