I wish they had shown the mean old Dior director getting his just desserts. All we see is a brief expression of consternation on his face as the Marquis enters Mr. Dior's office to complain. What I REALLY wanted to see was this mean ol' guy down on his knees grovelling before Mrs. Arris, handing her the dress in utter humiliation. Oh well, I can imagine it happening, can't I?

This is a fairly kind movie. The director was a jerk, and the wife of that oilweller was a snob, but well, no need to have a 'revenge' aspect when there were people that acted kindly to Mrs. Harris for the most part (Mme. Colbert was a bit snobby initially but she changed her mind, even if it may have been to annoy the director).
