Literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
I was sorely dissappointed by this. Billy Crystal is a funny, funny man. I really wanted to enjoy it, but it didn't make me laugh once. Shame.

You literally didn't get it. It isn't a comedy. It's a serious story of a comedian who was his own worst enemy.

Agreed filmmekker. It's more a drama than a comedy, although there are the odd occasionally funny one-liners. Buddy Young Jr, is presented as a tragic figure (the tearful clown) rather than a light, funny buffoonish one.

It's not meant to be an outright comedy. It's just about a comic / comedian.
There were a few laughs in it all the same but I thought it was a pretty decent story told about a flawed character.
