Okay I'll admit I just put this on Crackle and kinda had it on in the background, but I thought there was some big twist coming at the end explaining what the hell was going on, or did I just miss that part?

So anyway, was the kid supposed to be the devil?

I think the twist was that everything after the kid left the gas station with the guy and the kite didn't happen. That weird stuff was just in his head and the kid goes back and works at that gas station.
