This is not a spin-off of the homeboy shopping channell thing specifically. Damon Wayans wrote this and got it made off the strength of his name due to ILC and he used some of the same ideas. He also does his drunken bum character at the beginning of the movie. If you like ILC you'll probably enjoy this movie. I used to love when it first came out (I was only about 13) but I watched it again recently and was kinda disappointed really, it's kinda lame but good nostalgia for me. It's definately worth checking out.

and i bought it last week at a video store and watched it. it uses quite a few of damon's ILC characterds, and i was disappointed in that. but, the movie isn't that bad, in fact i found it educational. i did not know that a 1990 mercury grand marquis came with a driver's air bag. now i know that. yay.
marlon is rather good in this movie.
