No. It's based off some of Damon wayons standup routine from the time.

....Which was featured heavily on In Living Color.

Yeah :) But it all originated from his standup, if you listen to DefCon radio every now and then they play some of his really early standup. You'll hear the original versions of Mo' money and Handiman.

The Crackhead and Mo' Money were both highly popular gags on In Living Color at the time. Oh! the early 90's! Fun times!

The Crackhead (really a drunk named Anton Jackson) originates from his stand up before ILC. Mo Money originates from when Damon was on SNL than later on ILC as the Homeboy Shopping Network.
