Just wondering, i watched the film a while ago and i can't remember, did Johnny ever actually tell Amber he loved her in the film?

I sure as heck don't ever remember Johnny telling Amber he loved her. Even at the end of the film when Johnny was in the hospital he didn't say it either. I think he was infatuated with her beauty and having sex with her that loving her was one of the last things on his mind.
