Have you tried Amazon? Or any place that sells movies can maybe order it. I got my VHS copy at Borders about four years ago. I know it's on DVD as well!

And not only that, but Ernest Borgnine has a cameo! ;-)
This is a GREAT film, filled with Comedy, Drama, and rightfully focuses on the dark side of Hollywood (or Hollyweird as some call it) - which is nice since SO MANY movies give us that lame, silly, everything-turns-out-ok type of ending.
Landau, Wallach, Aiello and DeNiro = they all shine in this. Wuhl is good, not great, but he plays the part perfectly. Check it out!!

Go to the top right corner of the MISTRESS page and click on the dvd square..it brings you directly to Amazon where it states it's availability. I just saw that 12 copies are available used and or new starting at a certain price. That's all I found so far..
