One of Jeff's Better M.A. movies

I love this movie. Didnt realize it was so old. I found it on vhs at a flea market in Reading, Pa. A great gang "jump in" scene and some great fighting by Karen Shephard. She fights like a man.

I agree, this movie absolutely kicks you-know-what. Jeff and Karen are awesome in this film, acting and fighting (let's face it in the best movies they are one and the same) wise with great support from James Lew, Tony Burton, Jeff Pruitt (whose fight choreography also excels) and of course Matthias Hues. Nice script as well. The fight scenes are still some of the best seen in American films, especially considering the likely budget and time restrictions. The chop-shop fight, and the "gauntlet" scenes are just outstanding, and Jeff's one on one fight with Matthias is a great showdown. Nielsen was a bit of a letdown performance-wise but she still has a good presence as the frosty lead villainess. Still easily holds up today with films like Drive, Special Forces etc. Great score as well, especially over the action scenes, not too overblown etc.

The fights are better in this one, but I slightly prefer Deadly Bet over this.

Karen Shepherd and Jeff Pruitt also kicked ass here and Matthias Hues is great as always.
