Great movie! Does anyone know if it says exactly what year it takes place, or does anyone have an estimation. It's obviously post WWII but I'm trying to be more exact than that. Early 50s??

I haven't seen it in years but I believe it is just post WW2. Maybe late 1945 or 1946. The sister was found in a camp and returned to her existing family so probably in the months after the camps were liberated.
