What studio owns this movie?

Does anybody know what movie studio owns the rights to this movie? From what I understand the movie was originally produced by Motion Picture Corporation of America and released through Columbia/Tristar Studios. However according to their website sometimes MPCA produces movies for the major studios at smaller than usual major release budgets. So the question is did MPCA produce the movie for themselves and just release it through Columbia/Tristar or did Columbia/Tristar contract with MPCA to produce the movie for them with Columbia/Tristar retaining ownership? Also a few years after the movie was released Motion Picture Corp was aquired by Metromedia International Group who was then aquired by MGM. MGM aquired all of Motion Picture Corps library of movies. A few people that had worked at Motion Picture Corp were allowed to keep the Motion Picture Corp name and reform a once again independent company minus all the movies they had previous ownship of. Since that time Motion Picture Corp has built back up their library of movies through producing their own movies once again and buying ownership of other movies from other studios.


several questions

1) Did MPCA initially own the movie Miracle Beach or was it produced for Columbia/Tristar?

2) If it was MPCA who owned the movie, MGM would have taken over ownership when they bought out Metromedia who had bought out MPCA

3) Does MGM own the movie now or is it one of the movies MPCA has bought back?

I have sent an email to MPCA, Columbia/Tristar and MGM and have gotten no response from any of them. I have also checked out all 3 of their websites and none of them mention the movie. When I first looked into ownership of the movie It was just for requesting the movie be put on DVD but I couldnt find out which studio actually owns the movie.
