Did they shoot the dancing Feldman scenes elsewhere?

The Michael Jackson-esque dance looked retarded as all Hell. You could see the quick cuts in between his dancing on stage, then to the partying campers/counselors clapping, hooting and hollering. I'm sure a different dance was intended, but Corey HAD TO do his silly-ass Michael Jackson routine. I always thought the film was funny, but shouldn't have been included in the Meatballs series. Cristy Thom, why didn't she go anywhere after this film?

The entire dance sequence was shot in the same location. A lodge up at Bass Lake, CA., near Yosemite. After shooting the sequence, Corey became ill because of the high altitude. And I agree about Cristy... although she has become quite an accomplished artist. www.CristyThomArt.com

A quick aside, Bass Lake features prominently in Hunter Thompson's first novel "Hells Angels."
