Lambert actually a good actor

This film has proven again that Christopher Lambert is actually a great actor. I really wonder what happend to the guy that he's mostly wasting his time and good reputation on this action z-movie crap.

I agree... it's surely one of his best acting performances. Maybe not a "great" actor, but he has some talent, at least for these kind of roles.
Maybe his immediate experiences after "Highlander" ("The sicilian", "To kill a priest") were not really satisfying - and these movies were not really successful. Maybe he wanted to regain some popularity (but in a long term view, it was a disaster, except for commercial success of "Fortress" and "Mortal Kombat"), maybe he lost his ambitions (but why ?) and wanted to enjoy himself making action movies...
Maybe after "Highlander" and "Fortress", he was only proposed these kind of movies. I don't know, it's not clear. I think he should have done less US-action movies, and more French / European movies.

Too bad "Max et Jérémie" is little known. It seems Lambert is making a comeback to more ambitious movies. Try to have a look at "Janis et John", the movie is not perfect, but he's very convicing in it. I'm awaiting "A ton image" in June, a drama about cloning... the very first reactions are positive, it could be interesting.

I think both of them - Lambert and Noiret - were very good in this movie.
and the film could have been made better...
