East Asian Actors Playing Inuit

I noticed that trend from Hollywood films and it apparently goes back a long time. Chinese or Japanese people are usually chosen to play Eskimos. It was apparent in The Island At The Top Of The World (1974) and Shadow Of The Wolf (1992).

Too bad real Inuit weren't cast, but they were in the film The White Dawn (1974).
