FILMING LOCATIONS (weird connections)

After watching this again recently I stumbled across something. I randomly watched this one night and then Halloween 6 the next night and believe they used the same locations. The scene where Cordell is walking thru the basement hallway with the pipes looks just like the locations used at the end of Halloween 6 when Michael Myers is chasing people thru a similar area. I know that the end scenes of Halloween 6 were filmed in the abandoned Queen of Angels hospital so it makes sense that just a few years earler the Maniac Cop crew would have used the same hospital.

I also thought it was funny that the majority of this was filmed in LA yet supposed to be in New York when you can clearly see the Los Angeles skyline in the background. Another cool connection was the church which was also used in Prince of Darkness.

If anyone knows for sure if the hospital scenes are the same location I would appreciate the feedback. Just thought it was cool that Maniac Cop and Michael Myers stalked the same locations.
