Why Is This Movie Not On DVD?

I really enjoyed this movie. Does anybody have any information as to when it may be released? It was Antonio Banderas's first movie (I think); and I fell in love with him. His performance was terrific.

WOO-HOOOOOOOOOO!! Already placed my order, after first making sure that it wasn't an European knock off....once I ordered it, I saw your post RoboDan.

An update on the upcoming DVD release:

Look for the disc to come with a 1.85 anamorphic transfer, a remastered Dolby Digital 5.1 track, an audio commentary with director Arne Glimcher, a behind-the-scenes featurette and the trailer. This DVD edition also includes an additional scene incorporated back into the film featuring Armand Assante and Cathy Moriarity. Retail is $19.97 with a street date of August 16th.

They have it on Comcast On Demand now and I saw it the other night. The print looked dark, in some of the scenes a lot of detail was hidden in the shadows. I don't know if that was the way it was originally as I had never seen the movie before. The music hall scenes all looked bright and detailed though. I wish it had been available on HD.
