Turturro's Masterpiece

Ok, I am not one to toot someone else's horn. I must say that John Turturro filmed something very riveting when he made "Mac", and I loved it. The scenes where the construction was in progress, well, I found the cinematography out of sight. When Mac hammered the studs from their set place, I laughed, and I cried a bit as well. His hard work was never in vain. He enjoyed his career. He was raised by a man who gave him the respect it took to enjoy his career in home-building. I could go on, and on about this film. I have to give Katherine Borowitz a hearty clap for her adaptation of Alice. She put up with so much crap from Mac, and his family. Why didn't the mother ever come back downstairs? I guess John forgot her up there. :) Bye!
