O Polanski...I love you

Really guys...when I saw Chinatown...I thought that its such a perfect piece of art that even Polanski wouldn't be able to reach this level of craftsmanship once more in his life...and how he proved me wrong...by making Bitter Moon...

Living in France...in Paris...gave me such a thrill and pleasure that I identified directly with our protagonist...plus Emmanuelle Seigner speaks English with such a cute French accent that it is impossible not to fall in love with her...Grant and Scott-Thomas portray typical English frigidity with such distinguished ability that perhaps no one has ever done before...

How can I ever forget that scene...that might have embarrassed many viewers...in which Grant goes to Seigner's chamber for an amorous rendezvous and is deliberately humiliated by Seigner and Coyote...and the New Year Ball and then the Kiss and the famous line by Scott-Thomas: "Everything you can do, I can do better"

Fin Brèf ...Polanski rules...

Bonjour à tous! Hello to everyone! I'm just a guy from Finland and I think: yes, this is a fine masterpiece of Polanski and I hardly can find words to describe how gorgeous Emmanuelle Seigner is; I can only say she is an angel. The way she looks, the way she speaks... God's gift for France, for the world and for the cinema.

The first time I saw "Bitter Moon" on television here was in the early 2006 and already back then Seigner's charm made an incredible influence on me. I am not ashamed to say that seeing Mimi suffering almost made me cry on the second time I saw the movie which was just a little while ago. As some pop groups from our neighbour Sweden have sung: everybody's looking for love and people need love.

Viewing the movie for the 2nd time wasn't any disappointment either. You're right; it is impossible not to fall in love with Seigner. God bless her now and forever!
