...but i have to admit, the praise this film is getting from a lot of users on here is lost on me.

i found a lot of it to be rather cheesy, the sex scenes to be unintentionally hilarious (the toaster and the pig, need i say more?) and, try as i might, i couldn't give a monkey's about any of the characters.

i also found kristen scott thomas' character's actions at the end to be completely out of the blue and unbelievable. maybe in the novel there was more of an explanation of her reasoning?

i'm not meaning to diss anyone's favourite film here so please keep all corresponding posts constructive and polite...i'm not a troll looking for a rise out of anyone

I think it's a pretty good and suspenseful film, but ultimately it feels lacking something at the end.
