Attn Chris Columbus: Live Action Nemo

I don't think I'm alone when I say that someone needs to take up this project and who better to produce/direct than Chris Columbus! With the RIGHT director it could be epic and I'm not talkin about Tim Burton. I would say Pete Jackson or Alex Proyas to direct.

I'd be all for it. I most definitely wouldn't mind a Little Nemo revival, be it live action, traditional animation or even CG(like Pixar or Dreamworks). It's a franchise that could hold endless possibilities given how rich the world and the characters are. It's very imaginative as far as the worlds Winsor McCay depicts in the Little Nemo comic strips. Mars, even, is a fantastical world with strange creatures, native inhabitants and such, nothing truly sci-fi, but more full childlike fantasy. This movie did a fine job in showing the type of whimsy the comics were about, but in the comic, there's just so much MORE whimsy to explore. I actually LOVED that.

I've been thinking the same thing for years now. I was even thinking someone like Guillermo del toro as the Director would be nice. But definitely not Tim Burton, no offense to the guy.

What I love about Little Nemo is that it seemed to be a precursor to movies like "Spirited Away" with the trippy animation and colorful strange worlds that these animators can create whilst still having great story lines to go along with them.

This is one idea that I want to happen.

Volker Flenske: (While torturing David) I don't know why you're doing this to yourself!

Peter Jackson would be an awesome director for a live action Nemo, I love the Lord of the Rings.

I must become someone else. I must become something else.
