Best Herzog film

i would have to say this is my favorite i have seen of his.

It's my favorite "documentary", 2nd to Grizzly Man only. I'd call it science-reality, as opposed to science-fiction.

I'll grant you that this is one of his best documentaries, but I'd still give the nod to "Aguirre".

My favourites of his so far are Aguirre and Nosferatu, but this is by far the most visually appealing Herzog film I've seen.

And - dare I say it - one of the most visually impressive films of all time. Not only because of the quality of the images on itself (I almost called it beauty), but also because of the content of the images.

My favorite Herzog film is "Herz aus Glas" (Heart of Glass) just a little bit over "Nosferatu" and "Fata Morgana".

"Fata Morgana" and "The Wild Blue Yonder" are both great and very simular to "Lektionen in Finsternis" (Lessons of Darkness).

I'm only half way through his documentaries and this is barely in my top 10 Herzog.

Don't know if his best, but it is certainly mesmerizing and it succeeds to create a feeling that these are scenes from some far away planet.
