Enjoyable

After watching such films as "Se7en," "Deja Vu," and "Law-Abiding Citizen," and all the crime shows on TV, "The Legend of Wolf Mountain" was like a breath of clean mountain air. Yes, the acting was obvious, but the film told a story, had a few laughs, and didn't have people being maimed, sliced into pieces, or slowly being bled to death. Also it didn't have one of those horrid "shock" endings which isn't much of a shock anyway.

I have three more recommendations for family films, all of them quite different: "Akeelah and the Bee," "Once Upon a Midnight Scary," and "Racing Stripes." They are films which allow a person to sit back, relax, and just "go with the youthful flow."

I just found a copy of it today at a thrift store. I can't wait to watch it.
