Since Michael Mann has decided to go full on George Lucas mode and will apparently never release the theatrical version of this amazing film, I guess I will be stuck watching my widescreen VHS till it wears out. No matter. I have two back up copies, one still sealed.

I remember the first time I wrote about this on these very message boards over a decade ago. And here we still are, haha.

I got 6 copies, and I am going to wear them out.

If you want to replace the VHS tapes you really need the Region 4 dvd which is the theatrical version with the isolated film score
