What film has no business being on Entertainment Weekly's Top 10 List?
...and guess what?!? This film is gonna make first place! Is it really THAT bad??? Even worse than Gladiator or Saving Private Ryan?!? I don't think so. IMHO all those dumbasses haven't even seen this film, so they simply pick on the Asian flick ("Hey, it's a Chinese film, so it MUST be bad!").
Geez...
Hard Boiled is an awesome movie, and definitely, hands down, the best movie of 1992. I love it.
However, I assume the same reason. It is probably the least "known" movie (that's not to say it is "obscure"), and they have seen all the other ones, therefore they vote the one they haven't seen.
At least it made the Top 10 list, so that gives it some exposure.

shareHow so? Have you even seen "Hard-Boiled"? Tell me what movie comes even close to topping it in the gunplay department? The action choreography in "Hard-Boiled" is far superior to pretty much any American-made action film ever made. Look how generic the action in a film like "Lethal Weapon" is in comparison, for example. How in the world can you consider it a joke to be in the top ten? It actually deserves to be much higher than "Number 9 action film of all time".
