Can anyone please give me a list of any good Foreign, non-english (not Hollywood or British!!!) movies about gangsters, mafia, hoodlums, etc.

Movies about Triad, Russian Mafia, Latino gangs etc! thnx

Other John Woo movies like The killer and A Better Tomorrow,also check out 'Beat' Takeshi Kitanos movies Sonetine and Violent Cop.As for latino gangs, try City of God.

Give The Raid: Redemption a shot. No triads or magia, but the fight choreography is incredible.

Start with Woo's The Killer. It's good to watch these two together back to back if at all possible.

Infernal Affairs trilogy, Johnny To movies, Ringo Lam movies.
Just look up heroic bloodshed movies, and you'll have a load of HK films come up.
