Weird Movie...

This movie didn't really know what it wanted to be, caught it on HBO (6/2016) and it was like part John Hughes fourth wall break post-teen comedy but then they tried really hard to make it a buddy cop movie, forcing that Beverly Hills Cop imitation synth music pretty hard. I like Christian Slater and I think he was fine in this but the movie just didn't work overall unfortunately.
