No, but according to the book, Missy was not the perfect angel she was potrayed as in the movie. The movie even made a point of saying she did not use drugs, but according the the book, Missy did.
I just have to wonder why they could not potray her more accurately.
I think it's because the writer thought that people wouldn't feel so much sympathy if they knew Missy had a few behavioral problems. It's kind of sick if you think about it. Just because she made some mistakes doesn't mean she was a bad person or deserved to die.
