2pac Sounded like a Nightmare to work with

This is a young,less mature Tupac being discussed in those cases with all due respect it isn't that hard to picture him feeling insecure and maybe even defensive and it is well known that he came out swinging anytime he felt trapped. He would even mention such in interviews. Over even the relatively short time he was around he matured pretty quickly. It is a bit unfair to judge him by his youth, we all have things looking back on a younger version of ourselves that we regret doing. He was just a young man going through it literally in front of the camera.

Larenz didn't take his Tupac's part, he was actually up for the role of Shareef but objected because he didn't agree that a muslim (Shareef)would actually hang out with thugs such as Odog and Kane.

This is a clear case of channeling a person, becoming that person, and unable to shut that person off. That's what a lot of actors and actresses go through. It's kinda demonic. Tupac was like that. Check out how Tupac was before the movie "Juice", and then look at what he became after the movie. He became "Bishop" the character to the point that it ended up literally killing him.

Tupac was not a good person. He was convicted of sodomizing a woman and involved in multiple shootings/assaults.
