Why was the film rated R?
shareI guess for the violence.I havent seen the movie in a while so I cant really tell you in detail why it would be R.

*Possible Spoilers*
I'd say because they use guns a lot. Four scenes that I can think of off the top of my head that might have made this movie rated R:
- The bad guy shoots Michelle Yeoh(Jackie's Partner) point blank in the chest to show her bulletproof explosive vest wasn't actually lined with explosives.
- The bad guy has a man thrown into the pool(possibly shot first, can't remember), then has his men drown him to death in the pool. Not as gruesome as it sounds but still.
- The bad guy takes a pineapple(or some other spiky fruit) and smashes into a man's head and kills him.
- The bad guy takes a machine gun and shoots up a bunch of people.
