Jackie was a bit of an *******

Is it just me, or was anyone else thinking what the hell was Jackie's problem? It seemed like he was always being mean to Michael. (obviously his dad was WAY worse but still...) Was Jackie ever like that in real life? I hope not.

reply

What do you mean by that?

reply

Like what? In the movie he might have seen Michael as an annoying little brother and he might have been a little jealous, but no more than the other brothers.

In the instant that we learn Michael is gone, we know nothing.

Was it Jackie, who smacked Michael on the head, when they were in a studio?

Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!

reply

Hmm, maybe. I just remember him telling that Michael said "shoulders" instead of "shoulder"

reply

I think it was Jackie who hit Michael on his back. Joe just turned his head when Michael touched the microphone.

That's how older brothers treat the bratty younger ones. Young Michael was a bit of a brat.

How do you know if Michael was a bratty child? Did you live with them when they were growing up? If your answer is no, then you cannot say anything about that. I didn't grow up with them so I'm not going to say if Michael was a bratty child or not b/c I don't know.

All little brothers are brats.....

reply

So are OLDER brothers. I know; I have two.

That was the way older siblings were back in the day. No one complained about "verbal abuse" back then. It probably was too harsh at times. But that is better than being an emotional cripple like so many young people are today.
