Good Grief! - No Need For Another Charlie Brown Christmas Special

This one just can't compare to the classic 1965 original. Peppermint Patty also wears sandals and shorts even when it's snowing outside. I guess everyday feels like summer to her.

I don't think this or any Christmas program made could replace the 1965 classic. It's so different, because it's got so many stories going on.

Personally, I LOVE the music in the new one! I think it's better jazz than the 1965 program. I love the music accompanying the "It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown" intro at 4:06 on the DVD. I wish this stuff were available on a CD somewhere.

And unlike so many other sequels... this one Actually is worth watching... So no its not the original doesn't mean it doesn't have its great moments. I'm not going to lie I like all the Charlie Brown Christmas Specials (even the dog one). They aren't up to the level of the original, but lets face it what the heck really is? its up there with Miracle on 34th street, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and It's a wonderful Life.

They needed it for the fans of Peppermint Patty, Marcie & Woodstock who are upset they weren't in the original special. Because they weren't introduced yet.

This one is pretty good

I love this! It doesn't try to recreate the original but has the same cool vibe.
