They should have thought of a more catchy/unique title

for this movie.
That's the only one I don't like about this film.
I keep forgetting it, but never once the horse's name Tir na nog, and also that of the oh so appealing young boy Ossie.

I watched it again last night, trying to see if my VHS tape of it is still okay, and it is, thankful since my first time to see it was in the late 90's. I've been trying to look for the dvd but unfortunately can't find one here in my place.

It fascinates me until now, how the over-all realism blended so well with the fantasy/mythical part, and admired very much the performances of Gabriel Byrne as the father, Ellen Barkin who helped tracked the father's two sons and the horse Tir na nog, and the two young actors Ciaran Fitzgerald as Ossie and Ruaidhri Conroy as Tito.

I'm from a Southeast Asian country, but I've read some about Irish history, also a few historical novels, especially love Leon Uris's novel of Ireland Trinity.

My posting here is an attempt on my part not to forget the title.
