Catherine Deneuve: wow

She was almost 50 when she made this move, and I could have sworn she was 10 years younger. I am now convinced that she is the best looking woman alive, and I actually think she looks better here than she did in her early films like The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Belle Du Jour.

She's 63 now, and did you see her at the Academy Awards this year? She's STILL a stunner! Wow!

Normalcy is coursing through my veins!

I agree, she has that ageless quality, and looks as good as she ever did. I think that her looks have softened, perhaps this is why you prefer her now?! I know she looked beautiful at the Oscars. It was nice to see her presenting the foreign film clips!

She's my pick for the most beautiful actress ever.

I agree in Indochine she's stunning, though probably a bit too thin. I think whoever convinced her to darken her haircolor really contributed to her look in this film.

Yeh she, if you read her diaries you get the impression that she didnt like being so thin. I agree with you, she's also my oick for the most beautiful actress ever

When she cut her hair short for the shooting of "Indochine" it was a real national moaning in France. The whole nation was crying for her beautiful blond hair, which has been a part of her goddess-like cinema appearances for so many years . . . By the new haircut made her look even more stunning.
She is my all time favorite actress.

I agree so much.

... yeah, and the outfits she wore really contributed to the sex appeal: both in dresses and pants!

Catherine Deneuve is not only one of the best actress alive but also one of the most beatiful woman that I've ever seen on the screen.

From "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" to "A Talking Picture" (the most recent film where I've seen Catherine acting), she looks always radiant, beautiful, ageless, ethereal.

She is one of a kind!

I just watched this today for the first time in a few years. It's one of my favorite movies. Catherine Deneuve in this film was probably at her most breathtaking, because she was totally natural and undone at 49. A few years after this she did succumb to some plastic surgery which was very good work, but her face (especially her exquisite lips) are a little different. She's still gorgeous, but because of the surgery her face is not the same anymore. I always thought she would be one of the few who would never touch her breathtaking face, but she did. However, she is still one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Just incredibly elegant.
