I'll Say It Again (SPOILERS)

I used to be "Moriachnae" on this board and I wrote a short review.

It's kind of gotten buried since then.

My cousin wrote the script for this flick. He wrote a tight, dark and scary movie that was to be made into a theatrical film by Orion. Then, Orion had major financial trouble and the movie was returned to his agent. Eventually CBS bought the rights...and made my cousin rewrite major portions of the film so that it could have a happy ending--one suggesting a happy future for Jack and Lynn.

SPOILERS SPOILERS. SPOILERS.

In the original, the guy at the beginning of the flick shoots himself in the mouth, not his heart.

Lynn and Nancy set Jack up to take the fall. Instead of Jack and Lynn holding each other's hands and smiling (even though they are both looking at serious jail time) Jack is left to realize he's going to die...and Lynn and Nancy are seen driving away, laughing at having made him a patsy.

My cousin DID say that this movie allowed him to get kissed by Justine Bateman (who thanked him for writing her such a grown up part). (He also told about RDA getting stuck between floors on the stairs and one of the show's producers saying to him "You're McGyver for God's Sake. You should be able to get out of here using dental floss and a paper clip."

Anyway, I wish they had made the movie my cousin wrote instead of the one they did.
They don't teach anything at University. I had to recognize ducksh*t for brains by myself.
