Was Callie Cain only manic depressive??

It seemed to me that she had more than manic depression. She claimed to be hearing voices and seemed very paranoid in the film. Now, I admit I know little about manic depression, my uncle has it and he said to me that he never heard voices.
Is this common? Thanks.

I grew up with the real cooper kids and I do believe she was either bi-polar and or schizophrenic. One of the kids is bi-polar and adhd. Im not certain on anything about the real mother because I am a friend on the aunt and uncle but I do believe there was another disorder affecting the mom.

You're correct. She was more than a manic depressive. I am bi-polar ( manic depressive) and I am not violent, I dont hear voices etc.

I think she was probably an antisocial personality too.

I'm Bipolar. Bipolar (of the 1st variety, not the milder second) suffers can have psychotic breaks...hearing voices and seeing things is absolutely possible with Bipolar I patients.
