A similar case in 3/2006..another screwed up family

Here is a recent case involving 4 young children to meth addict parents whose home was filthy. The kids were removed and placed with DSS. The grandfather sued the foster family for custody, and thankfully lost. The report below states that when the grandfather had temporary custody, he still allowed contact between the loser bio parents, and refused to believe either parent was on drugs, even though they had arrests for possesion and both refuse to follow through with court ordered drug testing. I think the grandfather should be charged with disobeying a court order, but it looks like he has not been charged. I am glad the foster family prevailed in the end.

A judge would have to be SEVERELY brain damaged to allow four children to go back into such an environment.

Money isn't the root of all evil. Love of money is.

It happens. Back in 1996 I had a friend who had a baby with a man she wasn’t married to. It was a one night stand pregnancy. The guy did drugs and at times sold them. Even with proof of this he got weekend over night visits. It wasn’t until the apartment building he was living in had a police drug raid that he was arrested and she got full custody.
