sweetheart of a film
no, it isn't seinfeld. or walker, texas ranger. but it is a sweet movie about two people who connect. one wants something different, the other wants a career. i find this film to be exetremely underrated.
shareThis is a delightful romantic comedy-drama with excellent performances, great music, strong writing and direction, and a rare focus on romance primarily from the man's point of view.
Jason Alexander and Nia Peeples are perfect together, and special mention must be made of Lainie Kazan's wonderfully wacky performance as the meddling mother.
It's a shame this film isn't better known, because it's a sweet, endearing little gem. And the rather odd title makes perfect sense to anyone who sees this film. 8/10 stars from me.
