Another poker game question - limits

I thought in regular poker like this, there was a table limit. $100 per bet, $1000 per bet, whatever. Because if there is no limit, then if you're ahead, there is nothing to prevent you from going "all in" and winning every hand as everyone with less money folds.

Why would you ever play poker in a game without a table limit?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

You are correct. No matter what the table limit was or is, you can never "go into pocket" for money or chips. Whatever is on the table is all that is at stake. but they knew how ignorant he was and would stop at nothing to get his girl friend.
