OMG! Trump was so SEXY back in '92!

YUMMMMM!!!

reply

I hope you are a lady. Otherwise I am about to have an unneeded mental image. LOL.

reply

Who cares if they are a lady. A gay dude or tranny can't fantasize about younger Donald Trump if they want?

reply

❤️️
I prefer his 80s look. He really was much cuter then.

I was 6 when that movie came out, so at that age, I had no clue who that was. To me, he was just another businessman in a suit and a long coat who helped Kevin find the lobby of the hotel.

Now in those days, as far as I am aware, Trump was only famous in the business world. He didn't become recognizable all over America until the early 2000s, when reality shows were new and popular, and "The Apprentice" came on tv.

In fact, I didn't become aware of the cameo until a few years ago when I was reading trivia on IMDB and read about Trump owning the Plaza hotel in 1992, and playing the guy who helped Kevin find the lobby. I heard he liked the carpeting the movie-makers put in for the film so much that he left it in the lobby for years afterwards.

reply

We knew who Trump was wayyy before The Apprentice trust me. Maybe idiots didn't but we did

reply

Hell i knew who Trump was when i was 5 years old watching him in Bobby Brown's Ghostbusters 2 video. Of course unlike most i was political at age 4

reply

I knew who Trump was when I was a kid in the 90’s and I don’t even live in the US.

Not sure if I knew about him because of much publicized divorce from Ivana Trump as she got a lot of money from it, or I read about him before. But they both certainly were world famous.

I remember Ivana’s cameo in The First Wives Club (1996) when she said: “Don’t get mad. Get everything!”

reply

I didn't watch the news at that age, and we had no interest in that particular movie. In fact, my parents have never really been into reading the news, and perhaps that's a good thing.

reply

I think it was more of a gossip magazines, than actual news. :)

Yeah, I might not known who he was and didn't recognize him either when Home Alone 2 was released as I was 8 at the time, but by few years later I knew who he was.

Actually it is a good thing, we get so bombarded with unnecesary information and bad news it can be overwhelming, sometimes it is just better to ignore them.

And First Wives Club was a cute little movie. Nice comedy with good cast and I don't mean Ivana Trump, luckily she was in it just for a few seconds.

reply

Trump was known all over American media waaaay before The Apprentice! He was always showing in the news and even in entertainment media shows. If it was about something he himself was involved with, it was him commenting on something else. He was all over TV in the US back around the time of the Home Alone movies, that's why they gave him that cameo in the first place, because he was already a high profile figure in the media.

reply

Okay, I see what you mean. My family's never been into watching mainstream tv, so we didn't know about stuff like that.

reply

Yep, I have to confess I always watched a lot of mainstream TV - back then there was no Netflix or a lot of shows exclusively on the internet, you just had regular TV plus cable, plus physically renting movies for your entertainment.

In the 90s just catching the national news on TV, or "Entertainment Tonight" even, lol, Donald Trump would show up for one reason or another. Of all the prominent business men of the time, he was probably the most in the limelight. He was a "celebrity" figure even before the Apprentice (which is also why they signed him for that show too).

reply

I admit, AmericanGirl26, until the 2016 election, I had no idea what Donald Trump looked like and had only heard his name mentioned not really knowing who he was. I didn't really watch reality shows back then or watched the news much back then.

reply

No...no he wasn't. Look closely, you can even then he had a bad comb-over. He's pretty much been unattractive all his life. Let's just make that clear.

reply

Yes, because all bad people are ugly, and all good people are stunningly good-looking.

Wow! You must be living in a Disney cartoon.

Or, and let's just make this clear, you're just simply an idiot...

reply

Idiot.

reply

Yes, but I'd already figured out you were one for myself. Thanks all the same.

reply

True, but you don't have to be attractive to be successful, and more than once he's joked about his own hairpiece, hehe.

reply

He's been always exuding a huge sex appeal, in the 1970's and early 80's especially, even these days at an older age he's still a very attractive man, it has a lot to do with his personality, which is a big turn on! Women love self confidence and a certain degree of arrogance in real men.

reply

Wonderful personality..., full of classless smarm that shallow clueless bimbos Swoon over

reply

It is the genuine innocence and beauty of his soul, self discipline pushing themselves and others to be better, positive state of being at all times even despite the outside circumstances or him driving the repressed darker sides out of people to make things better, the master of spiritual law of attraction to self talk in the best possible ways, not necessarily the class that people are attracted to, class is made by culture, always changing based on what society dictates about what is decent and what is not. Many people have a lot to learn from the higher state of mind he's been disciplined to live by. Only few have it, and those few are very powerful abundant people, not always financially.

reply

Sorry, replied to the wrong post!

This is the correct nesting:

Ewww. I remember Trump from back then and sorry, no, I never thought he was attractive or had sex appeal. To me then he seemed like just this odd-haired blow-hard businessman who seemed to go through wives like cheap socks. Never once ever thought he was appealing as a man. I don't like arrogance in a man AT ALL. All about the sweet person, here.

I had to read this three times before I passed out

It's true in the confidence dept. Everyone likes someone who has confidence, no matter what they look like, beautiful or ugly. It shows strength of character and someone you can look up to.

reply

In 2020 he is still sexy

reply

You clearly have taste for shit.

Donald Trump 'bullied' his way into a cameo appearance in Home Alone 2: Lost In New York according to director Chris Columbus

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8946927/Donald-Trump-bullied-way-cameo-Home-2-Lost-New-York-says-Chris-Columbus.html

reply

Nothing about that could be defined as "bullying". Trump allowed them to film inside his hotel on the condition he got a cameo in the movie, which they simply accepted. Then Columbus blames the audience for his own decision to keep him in the movie. This guy's pathetic, doesn't he realize Biden...uhm, I mean Harris will be president in a couple of months?

reply

Yes, he was attractive for sure!!
