The (Soon to be) President Was In This Movie

With Donald Trump winning the election, Home Alone 2 will now go up there with Predator (which co-starred two fututre governors, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura) and all the old Hollywood films that Ronald Reagan was in, as one of the most politically successful films in all of American cinema history! :whew:

Yep and how strange to think even then that it would ever happen, then Trump will go on to run for election for President and somehow win. But you have to remember that Donald Trump made a very short cameo in this movie, and wasn't something of a starring role for him. And correct me if I am wrong, prior to this election Trump Trunp didn't really have any experience in politics where a lot of other future presidents either served as a senator or a governor of a state.

Yeah but still, the President of the United freakin' States was in this movie! Not many films out there can say that, like who woulda thought that 24 years ago if you went up to people and told them that a future President would appear in Home Alone 2 of all films, imagine how crazy they would think you were. Quite amazing really.

It's pretty surreal indeed that Kevin asked a future president where the lobby was! Awesome.

And that he visits the Twin Towers in the same movie

I watch this movie every year around the holidays and I remember last year I said kind of jokingly that could be President Trump! I didn't think it would actually happen! This movie, and especially that scene will never be the same again!

Funny the movie talked about Herbert Hoover staying there too. Looks like the Plaza is literally a presidential hotel.

reply

Did Donald Trump actually stay in the Plaza Hotel.

reply

He owned it at the time
