Sure the twin towers thing has been
Brought up before.. But first time watching in ten years or more. The scene where Kevin is on the towers looking in amazement cuts to a four with airport security on it.

shareThat's because on every DVD and tv release after the 9/11 Attacks the Scene has been cut.
Such an good scene though it's a Shame it's missing in the newer versions.
Why would they remove the twin towers from the movie? The buildings get destroyed by Islamic terrorists, so let's try to erase the buildings from cinematic history. Taking the "terrorists win" to another level.
shareBecause that's just what happens in the world I'm afraid. It's like they want to erase it and forget about it when it's a hard thing to forget
It's much better with that scene in the movie :)
I agree, that scene in the movie is special and should be preserved. The people lost in in that event should not be forgotten, and neither should the structural marvels that the twin towers were be forgotten.
shareIt's sad really. I still can't watch Tora!Tora!Tora! since they removed the attack on Pearl Harbor.
shareIf you're gonna have a freakin' World War Two film, why'd you wanna cut out the bombing that started it all for our involvement..agree totally (and I saw Tora.. in 1970 in its orig.release..) with you and anyone else on that one. Even worse that the trade center thing.,.
shareodshooter22 So you still believe terrorists did it lol? Man, you really need to do some research and learn the REAL truth...... escape the matrix.
shareI have a blue ray with the Twin Tiwer scene.
sharecon-59873 It's not missing, it's still on the DVD/blu ray that I have.
shareThat's why they're deleting the boards... to hide the truth!
shareThis just seems dumb. Are they going to do the same to King Kong 1976, the Ghostbusters movies, the original Superman movies, For Richer or Poorer, Jungle to Jungle, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and every other movie with the twin towers in it? Can't we just see them and say, "That's how things used to be."? This whole thing is dumb.
Agreed, it's ridiculous. I've never understood this whole censorship thing with the WTC towers. It's not like Japanese movies cut out the entire city of Hiroshima, which was a much bigger tragedy by any measure.
